At the end of the month Nikki Sivils always hosts a challenge with lots of fun Nikki Sivils prizes! This month's challenge is to combine any Nikki Sivils lines into one project. You can make a layout, card or altered item, but it must include at least two lines (or more!).
I created this "you're tweet" card for the challenge. I used Willow Bee, Bluebery Hill and My Friend Birdie, three of my favorite lines.
If you want to play along you can find all the details HERE on Nikki's blog. And while you're there check out the projects from the rest of the DT. You will not be disappointed! They are so creative at mixing the lines together. I would never think to mix the papers they did, but it looks great!

It's Pink Week
This week is pink week on the Bo Bunny blog in honor of breast cancer awareness month. The DT has been hard at work creating pink projects in honor of all those that have been touched by this disease. I have heard their stories about personal battles with the disease, family and friends they have helped through it and unfortunately about loved ones they have lost too soon.
I smiled at the wonderful stories about friends recovering and I had tears in my eyes reading about the ones they have lost. I was angry that such wonderful people that I have come to know and befriend online through our common love of this hobby had to go through what they did. Each project was created with such love and compassion I felt as if my heart would burst. All of their work is truly inspiring and I am grateful to each of them for sharing their stories.
Today is card day and myself and a few other DT members created some cards of encouragement to send to friends and family. These are the cards that I created:

A few projects to share...
Good afternoon everyone! It is finally starting to feel like fall here and I am loving this great weather. Frances's new favorite activity is to go outside and step on leaves. Every day she says "Go outside, step on leaves, crunch, crunch, crunch..." So I think I know what the title of my next layout is going to be- "CRUNCH, CRUNCH, CRUNCH". Here's the little one doing just that- crunching some leaves:
Do you notice the Crocs she's wearing? Well those are now her favorite shoes. She will only wear those shoes. If I try to put any other shoes on her she screams "NO, other shoes". So we spend a lot of time cleaning crunched up leaves out of them :)
And we spent the weekend at the pumpkin farm. I love this time of year! So much fun stuff to do!
I used the name of the paper line as my sentiment for this card because it was just perfect for these little ghosts and hearts. I used papers from the 6x6 Boo-tiful mini pad to make the card and printed my sentiment on some of the scraps.
I used the cricut (the Mini Monsters Cartridge) to cut my card base for this one and then used the layer feature to cut paper from the 6x6 Boo-tiful mini pad. I adhered everything and then cut the bat and pumpkin from the scrap paper and adhere with foam tape. Some ribbon, a button and the chipboard letters made it complete!
I also made some cards for Bo Bunny using the Whoo-ligans line. I love the Whoo-ligans! Aren't these little guys cute! All the supplies are from the Whoo-ligans line including 12x12 paper, chipboard, stickers and the noteworthy journaling books. And I used some Tombow adhesive to put them together. That's the only adhesive I will use. I love the tape runners and buy the refills in bulk so I never run out!
Thanks for looking!!

Now on to my projects! I have three projects on the Nikki Sivils Blog today. I am so in love with her new lines!! My Friend Birdie is my favorite. I cannot stop using it. And of course I had to use Boo-tiful too because I am definitely in Halloween spirit. I can't wait to take Frances Trick or Treating. We have been practicing! She is pretty good at the Trick or Treat part, but then when I ask her what do you say when you get candy she says "Thank you Welcome". She doesn't quite get that she doesn't say both of them together!
My first project uses the "My Friend Birdie" line. I used the 12x12 paper, the scalloped paper, the 12x12 letter stickers, some burlap buttons, the pocket full of stickers and a courderoy brad. I cut the tree limb from the 12x12 cutie cut ups and then punched some hearts out of green cardstock and patterened paper for my leaves.

5 weeks and counting... (and a give away!)
until this baby girl is born! I can't believe how fast the time has gone and am even more in shock that in about 5 weeks there will be another baby girl in this home. I am excited, nervous, scared and a little worried that I will be taking care of two babies under two! But most of all I can't wait to meet her and have been wondering what she is going to look like! Most of all I am wondering if she will look like Frances. Or maybe they won't look anything alike? And we still don't have a name!!
So as some of you may have noticed I have not been posting too much lately. My hands have been hurting very badly and my doctor said I developed carpal tunnel syndrome. She said it is very common in pregnancy and in almost all cases goes away immediately after deliverly. Because of that I have not been scrapping as much as I would like too, so not as much to post on the blog. I just figure I am saving all the creativity to scrap the super adorable pictures of my two girls that I am sure to have tons of soon. I did just buy them the cutest matching dresses and hats. I can't wait for those pictures!
I may not have a project to share today, but I do have some new badges from Nikki Sivils!!!
Aren't they just adorable! And because these are too cute not to show off I am also having a give away! Here's what you need to do. Choose one (or more if you can't decide like me!) of the badges above (you can also find them on Nikki's Blog) and post it to your blog. You can "right click, save as" to save the badge to your computer or upload it to your online photo album. Leave a comment on this post with a link to your blog and I will pick one person at random to win some Nikki Sivils Goodies! You have until next Monday at 11:59 pm central time to leave your comment. Thanks for playing along!

"SEW" Dang Cute!
There's a new feature on the Bo Bunny Blog that debuted today. It is called "Sew" Dang Cute and you guessed it! It is all about sewing on your projects.
For the new feature I created this layout of my little Frances. I guess I have to stop calling her my little Frances because she is such a big girl now and she will have a little sister in just 6 weeks! I cannot believe where the time went or that I will have two little girls soon!
So this layout is a glimpse into my everyday life. I am sure all you moms of two year olds can relate! It is chaos everyday, but I love every minute of it. I swear I turn my back for one second and toys and clothes are everywhere. But how can you resist this cute face!!!

All the paper and accents are from the Whoo-ligans line. I love it the colors and cute little monsters on this line. And it is perfect for non-halloween layouts too!
I used hand stitching, machine stitching and faux stitching on this layout. My fingers were a little sore , but it was worth it!
Here I hand stitched around the little monsters I cut from one of the
patterned papers. I used lines already on the paper
as my guide and peirced holes with a paper piercer before stitching with embroidery floss.
Along the borders of the center papers I pierced holes
and then hand stitched around them. Then I added some faux
stitching with my black Tombow pen.
Then I added some black lines under my journaling with
the sewing machine. This part was quick!
I hope you are inspired to sew on your layouts now! And don't miss the other girl's layouts. They have some great sewing projects!

A new challenge and some new Bo Bunny!
I have two things to share today!
First my October challenge is up at Treasured Scrapbooking. For October I challenge you to use all those stamps you have hidden away! I pulled out an old baby stamp set that I love for this card. I used water color pencils to color in my baby and then a dove blender pen to blend the colors together. I love water colors because they are so easy to use (you can erase if you make a mistake) and I can buy a whole box for the price of one marker.
And second Bo Bunny is releasing their new lines this weekend! Two are already up on the blog and there be another tomorrow. Here is a little sneak peek of the two new lines:

A new challenge on Nikki Sivils Blog
The October challenge is now posted on the Nikki Sivils Blog! You can play along by making a back to school project featuring any of Nikki's lines.
I chose to make a Thank You teacher card using the Hello Birdie and Tree Love lines- two of my favorites! I added some school supplies for the finishing touches such as staples, paper clips and a page ripped from an old dictionary. I cut the apple with my cricut using the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge.
