Miss Art's Free Class (and a sketch)!

Hi there! Happy Spring!

First let me tell you about a FREE class coming to Miss Art's this weekend! Here is all the info-

The headmistress at Miss Art's would like to invite you to our biggest free class event yet! Beginning on Friday, March 23rd, you will have 3 days to check out three of our most popular classes for free, no subscription needed.

Three of our 201 class have nearly completed their 12 months of availability, and each of these amazing classes deserves a farewell party! The Secret Garden with Stacy Cohen, B. You! with Heidi Kelley, and All About Me with Bethany Kartchner have all been around for nearly a year, and will soon be removed from our class schedule to make room for some amazing new classes. That means that this weekend is your chance to check them out one last time, for FREE! If you've been thinking about joining our student body, consider this your campus tour, led by three amazing teachers. When you visit us on Friday, head to the "Classes" page to view this weekend's free classes. We'll see you there!

I want to share that I am the Guest Designer over at Pencil Lines. I first found the site a few years ago when I discovered online scrapbooking and love, love, love the sketches! They have had several DT calls over the years, but I was always too afraid to try out so I was shocked, surprised and elated when I found an email in my inbox asking me to guest design with this sketch:

I used the sketch to create this layout about my Isabel's cute little pout. This is her pouty face and I just can't resist it. I melt everytime. Boy, oh boy, is she going to use this face against me when she is older- lol!

Supplies: Crate Paper Neighborhood collection paper, stickers, chipboard, and buttons; American Crafts stickers (thickers) and twine

Some new sketches

Hi there!

Last month I volunteered to make the montly sketch for The ScrapRoom. I am always nervous that my work might dissappoint so I created three sketches just in case! Here's the two that didn't "make the cut"- lol!

I hope they inspire you in some way! Please be sure to share them too!

Monday's Sketch

I have been a little behind with posting (and creating with) the Monday sketch from Scrapbook Challenges- SORRY!!!

I think things got a little away from here with vacation and all the fun stuff going on in summer. So here it is- sketch 209 from Scrapbook Challenges:

And here is my take on the sketch. I didn't have four pictures I wanted to use on the layout so I omitted the two horizontal pictures from the sketch. Instead I used just two big vertical pictures in place of the two small ones on the sketch. Then I used the banner in place of the stitching from the sketch. And I love those new fabric thickers. The color and font was just perfect for this layout.
