How do you define....?

Bo Bunny is using definitions on layouts today! It could be any definition anywhere. Some of the designers chose to put the definition in the title and others as their background. I used my definition in my journaling. I tried to make my journaling look like a definition from a dictionary. Thanks to Merriam Webster online for the actual definition! The examples are all mine :)

That's my sweet Isabel playing at the beach last summer. She is our little fishy! She loves the water and splashing around. This is her signature "Sea Turtle" pose. That's what she calls it when she swims on her stomach. I think she has been watching too much Dora and Diego!

I used Bo Bunny Key Lime  (sounds as yummy as it looks!) papers and embellishments and the Cricut Create A Critter cartridge for my title.

I also used American Crafts twine, Staz On ink and an old Heidi Swapp chipboard heart I found at the bottom of my bag. Some may call it fate I found that heart just at that time :)

Here's some close ups...

Still celebrating Father's Day

Last week on the Bo Bunny blog we were celebrating Father's Day. Father's Day was the Sunday before and there are plenty of ideas for you to scrap all those pictures you took!

I chose to use the new Bo Bunny collection Trail Mix for my layout of my little Isabel and her daddy. She is definitely a daddy's girl!

I used the Cricut Songbird cartridge to cut my title and mixed and matched some older Bo Bunny stickers to finish it.

Thanks for coming by and tomorrow I will have a layout using Key Lime to share!

Last day of the Bo Bunny & Xyron Blog Swap

It's the last day of the Xyron and Bo Bunny blog swap and there's lots of inspiration to end the week!

Tuesday I created a layout of my dear little Isabel using Bo Bunny's new collection Trail Mix. Today I have a layout of Isabel a little older and her sister Fran using Bo Bunny's new collection Anthem.

I used the Xyron Mega Runner and the little Create a Sticker machine to complete this layout. I love the create a sticker for the small little Noteworthy Die Cuts that the Mega Runner is to big for.

Here is a close up of the banner I created from the Anthem 12x12 chipboard. I adhered the chipboard banner pieces then adhered some other various shapes on top and added some bling and twine to finish it.

And I am loving the new doilies! I never thought I would be a doilies kind of girl, BUT can these be any more perfect for Fourth of July? The pattern reminds me of those old fashioned Fourth of July posters.

I hope you enjoyed the swap! I should have been your last stop, but if you haven't made your around yet also check out Juliana's Blog, Robbie's Blog, the Bo Bunny Blog and the Xyron blog for more inspiration.

And don't forget the prizes! Leave a comment on all the blogs and one winner will be chosen from EACH BLOG (yes that's right! multiple winners!) to win one of the new collections of their choice. The hardest part will be deciding which one to pick!

Some more "winter" papers

I'm back!! Yep, I have a couple of new layouts this week!

For this layout the Bo Bunny Design team used the Snow Day collection, but it had to be on a non-winter layout. Here is what I came up with....

I did add a little Love Letters, but I couldn't resist. I do LOVE pink! And hearts!

The Ribbon Carousel Nikki Sivils Blog Hop!

Today the Ribbon Carousel and Nikki Sivils teamed up for this fun blog hop!

I LOVED working with the Ribbon Carousel ribbon on this layout! I used the Nikki Sivils "School is Cool" line and four different Ribbon Carousel ribbons I used the red and white for my banner, and the others for the border across my page. I think my favorite is the ruler ribbon for sure! LOVE!

I aslo used my cricut and the Birthday Bash cartridge to cut the balloons and the number one.

Thanks for hopping over! Have fun on the hop!

I'm back with some new projects!

wow, wow, wow, I have been BUSY! So much to do and unfortunately all my projects usually get pushed to the end of my list :(

But I was busy the last couple of weeks with these projects that I have to share with you today.

The first is a a little book I made for my little girl who is starting her second year of pre-school!

It is a spelling book to help her start spelling. I used the Nikki Sivils "School is Cool" line for the book.

I used 26 8 x 5 lined index cards and trimmed them to 2.67 inches and then wrote the alphabet on the three sets. I trimmed a piece of cardstock to 8 x5 (two pieces) for the front ad back covers and then hole punched the whole thing.

Next I created a gift card holder also using "School is Cool". I adhered the gift card to the card using glue dots. They are very easy to peel of the gift card when it is removed!

Next up is some Bo Bunny! Bo Bunny had a recipe challeng to use the followng supplies or less on a layout-

three sheets patterend paper
1 sticker sheet
1 package of embellishments
1 sheet of cardstock.

Here's what I came up with...

I used the Camp-A-Lot papers, chipboard and stickers to create my layout.

Thanks for coming by! I'll try to be back soon with more projects!

Field Trip Friday at Bo Bunny

Today on the Bo Bunny blog it's Field Trip Friday! What's that you ask? It's a day to take a field trip and do some think you wouldn't normally do. For this field trip I chose to use STAMPS on my layout. HAHA, not very adventurous you say? For me it is! I am always afraid I am going to 'mess up' my layout if I stamp on it. So I kind of cheated. I stamped on paper and then cut out the images. That way if I messed up I could just try again. I did stamp a border along my paper, but it's very light and I covered most of it up. What I can see of it I like though!

I used Bo Bunny "Little Miss" papers and embellishments and "Little Miss" and "Hello Sunshine" stamps.

there's my stamped birdcage, birds and hexagon border below.

Here's another layout I created for the Bo Bunny blog a few weeks ago that I forgot to post :(, opps! I used "Little Miss" on this layout also.

I took these photos for father's day and LET ME TELL YOU, it was NOT an easy feat. To get these two girls to look at the camera at the same time?? NOT HAPPENING. It was worth it though to get the photo of the two of them kissing though :). It's priceless!

This layout was for a challenge to use limited supplies. I could only use two embellishment packs (I chose stickers and chipboard) and two sheets of patterend paper (thank goodness the papers are double sided!).

thanks for coming by! Have a great day and check out the Bo Bunny blog to see what the other DT Members created!

A few new things :)

I have a few new things to share today!

First up is some new Nikki Sivils using Messages. I can't get enough of this line!

I used a sketch from Allison Davis for this sketch. You can find out more about her sketch books HERE.

I had this one in mind for a while. I like to write down all my girls' favorites things to say every once in a while. I have two pages like this for Fran too.

and I also created a card with Bo Bunny! I used Hello Sunshine. I love the little bees in this line! I adhered the bee circle sticker on top of a button to make my own charm on this one.

Thanks for coming by tonight!

New Bo Bunny has arrived!

The new Bo Bunny will be hitting the stores soon and you will LOVE it! I was able to play with some of the new "Hello Sunshine" and it makes everything seem so bright!

I created this page for the Bo Bunny blog Focus on Trinket post. I used the "Hello Sunshine" trinkets for my title the two flowers on the left side.

I cut out some of the patterned paper to make my bee hive design along the middle of the page and used a brad for the little swirl behind the bee.

You can see some more Trinkets on the Bo Bunny blog. Thanks for coming by!

Bo Bunny May Layout Sketch Challenge

Hi all, I have a sketch to share from the Bo Bunny blog today! There's still time to participate in the Bo Bunny sketch challenge using this super fun sketch from Kristine Davidson of Creative Scrappers. Upload your layouts to the May Sketch Challenge Blog Page- HERE.

Here is my take on the sketch using Bo Bunny "Serenity" papers and embellishments and a little "Et Cetera" thrown in there too. Love how this line matches my little peanut's coat!

Scrapbooking about Faith at Bo Bunny

This week the Bo Bunny blog featured layouts about faith on the blog. When given this assignment I thought about what I wanted to scrapbook and after a lot of though decided on scrapbooking this photo of my girls. My layout is about having faith to let them go and grow up. Sometimes I think I am going to to be that helicoptor parent that hovers over everything they do. I can't even tell how many times I have I said "My girls are NEVER going to do that". I know I am going to have to let them out into the word one day, but why does that day come so fast? So here it is my layout about faith-

Supplies: Bo Bunny Ambrosia Papers and Embellishments.
I ran out of chipboard letters so I used the chipboard letter packaging to trace the F, T and H then popped them up using foam tape. Sorry the layout is a little crooked :)

Thanks for visiting! You can see more Faith layouts on the Bo Bunny blog.

Three layouts to share

Hi all! I am up on the Nikki Sivils blog today! I have three layouts to share that I created with three of her new collections- Messages, Exit Here and Audrey. I also used some products on my layouts that were so generously donated by the following companies- Helmar, Basically Bare and The Twinery! Thank you, thank you, thank you for being so generous with all your product. It was amazing to use!

First up I'll show the Messages layout because it is my favorite :) This my husband and I. Not too many pictures of us get taken! One of us is always behind the camera and the other trying to get the kiddos to take pictures. I used my Helmar zap dots (the black foam ones) to pop up the banner and clouds on my layout. The clouds I stamped on the Messages graph paper and then cut out.

Here is my sweet baby Isabel. Isn't she a doll? I know I am biased! Exit Here is Nikki's vacation line and it was perfect for these sunny beach photos. I ussed some Twinery Maraschino twine for my banner and the clouds are from Basically Bare. Love them both! I am have now become addicted to Twinery Twine. It is thicker and doesn't fray like the other twines I have.

This collection Audrey. It's perfect for me because all I do is scrap little girls- hehe!
I couldn't decide on which photos to use so I used them all with a little help from the Wal-mart photo lab. It is only $1.99 to print this collage. You pick the prints and arrage them. This is an 8x10. They also do 5x7 that are a little cheaper.

Thanks for visiting! If you get a chance please visit Nikki's blog and say hello!

Happy Leap Day (and some Bo Bunny Alora)

Hello and happy leap year!

Today on the Bo Bunny blog they are featuring layouts that use calendars as part of the design. I created this layout from the brand new Alora collection. I have to say this is my favorite collection Bo Bunny has every come out with! It is AMAZINGLY cute!

I printed a calendar page on 8 1/2 x 11 cream cardstock and then trimmed it to 8 1/2 by 8 1/2 to use as my back ground. The title is a play on the calendar theme, but very true!

Thanks for visiting and Happy Leap DAY!
